This course is excellent for those who are interested in Fire Investigation but do not want to take our NFPA 1033 Pro Board Accredited course. This course is designed to give the students the basic information required to conduct Fire Investigations. And includes; B.C. Fire Facts, Role & Duties, Roles, Duties & Responsibilities of the Office of the Fire Commissioner, Role of the Fire Department, Fire Chemistry, Fire Behaviour, Recording Your Findings, Fire Scene Safety & Security, Fire Scene Examination, External Perimeter Examination, Internal Survey, Examination of Casual Factors, Fire & Heat Indicators, Motor Vehicle Fires, Marine Fires, Wild land Fire, Fire Scene Management & Major Investigations, Technical Reference, Explosions, Local Assistants & the Judicial System and Media & Fire Investigations, Upon Completion of this course you will receive certification from the OLC. Note: If within One Year of Completing this Basic Course the student decides to continue in this field and wishes to take the FPOABC NFPA-1033 Pro Board accredited course, credit will be given towards that course.
