                  Detecting the Presence of Hazardous Materials. 

There are many clues that the fire investigator can use to help identify hazardous materials. The clues may be obvious, such as a DOT placard, or may be less obvious, such as the type of occupancy on a property. By being aware of clues and knowing what may indicate hazardous materials, the Fire Investigator will be in a better position to appropriately handle the situation when you come across them. This course will give you that knowledge. This course will  take you approximatly 3hrs to complete.
